Video: When Cilla Black appeared on Coronation Street

There is some very sad news today with the reports of Cilla Black passing away aged 72.  The BBC have her obituary here.

Paul O'Grady interviewed Cilla in a special programme called The One and Only Cilla Black, to mark her 50 years in show business in 2013. Paul presented a celebration of Cilla's career. She was one of our most popular all-round entertainers and today's sad news has hit hard.

As part of the anniversary show, Cilla made a guest appearance on Coronation Street with Barbara Knox and Malcolm Hebden (Rita and Norris).

Rumours in 2010 that Cilla Black was joining the show as a cast member were quashed.
