Spoilers: Corrie filming out on location this week

Coronation Street have been out filming on location this week and we've found some excellent pictures online.

The Sunday Mirror today have paparazzi pics showing Tracy and Carla on the edge of a cliff. The Mirror reports that Tracy, played by Kate Ford, wore a safety harness for the scenes at a quarry near Glossop, Derbys

In the pics, Carla's drinking - is she desperate enough to be considering suicide and what's Tracy doing there? Is she helping her or pushing her over the edge?

Alison King, who plays Carla, will be taking a break from the show in 2016 but says she definitely wants to come back. Read all about that here. They wouldn't kill Carla off, would they?

Also out on location this week was newcomer Ted Robbins with Patti Clare, who plays Mary. The Manchester Evening News have the paparazzi pictures showing Ted as a ghost hunter with Mary, filming at Wythenshawe Hall, in Wythenshawe Park, which was transformed into ‘Butterthorn Hall’ for the shoot.

The MEN report that snippets of dialogue overheard during filming reveal Ted’s character is investigating suspected paranormal activity at the supposedly haunted house.

  1. Speculation: Since Carla isn't exiting until 2016, I think this is where Tracy will confess to Carla that she started the fire accidentally but there's nobody around to overhear and it's unable to be proven, just Tracy's word against Carla's.

  2. I agree with Tvor.

If Carla is considering throwing herself off a cliff (which is what it looks like in those photos), something else must go very wrong for her first. I think her gambling addiction will really take hold and she may even start stealing. By the time Tracy confesses, I think Carla will just be seen as a liar and no one will believe a word she says.

Tracy will just deny everything. I guess the truth could be revealed when Alison King takes her break.

  3. If Tracy tells Carla that she stole Michelle's keys to her flat, that could get some people thinking. Somehow this information could get back to Ken (and maybe Amy overhears). We didn't see Tracy put the keys back so why hasn't their disappearance been a crucial part of the story?

Another scenario. I don't think it's likely to happens but just desserts says that in saving Carla, Tracy will lose her footing at the top of the cliff. Carla will be blamed for pushing her saviour to her death and nobody believes that Tracy confessed to her. That's why Carla leaves in 2016.

  4. Yes, the key thing should come out. Love the idea of Tracy falling off the cliff, but also doubt it will happen, as the producers won't want to lose Tracy, the way they keep coming up with more stories for her.

  5. P.S. Must say I'm liking Amy at the moment, some lovely comments to Tracy and Ken, although they do sound quite mature for an 11-year-old.

  6. Apparently Tracy does get arrested for the fire so perhaps Carla is believed after all when Amy suddenly remembers blowing the candle out before going to bed and Tracy is held without bail?
