ITV is the biggest commercial television network in the UK. Behind every famous ITV face, there are hundreds of others, all doing their bit to make things happen. Coronation Street is the world's longest-running TV Serial Drama currently in production, and our Lighting team is a big part of that!
We are looking for two Production Electricians to join our fast paced environment here on Coronation Street at ITV Studios, to be part of the Production Lighting team supplying various lighting and electrical needs.
Our Production Electricians will rig, de-rig, operate, maintain and store lighting and electrical equipment in studios and on location with full consideration for the health and safety. You will work with different power supplies including 3 phase and generators, plus aspects of power connection.
We will look to you to work at height including, mobile elevated working platforms, scaffolds and ladders and occasionally drive LGVs and HGVs subject to appropriate licences being held, you will ensure that Driver’s Rules and Tachograph Protocols are adhered to and that all related records are completed and returned
The successful candidate will be Qualified to City and Guilds 2330 Certificate in Electro-technical Technology Level 3 and City and Guilds 2381 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS 7671)17th Edition or equivalent.
