Keeping cool with Coronation Street ice-creams

Keeping cool in a heatwave means only one thing. Well, two. You could lie naked on your back lawn with the hosepipe turned on and have someone spray you. 

Or you could have an ice-cream.

As we've no pictures of Spider Nugent lying naked on a lawn being sprayed by a hosepipe, here's some pictures of Coronation Street characters eating ice-creams instead..

Here's current cast members David Neilson (Roy Cropper) and Melanie Hill (Cathy Matthews) in a break in between filming some years ago.

And of course, let's not forget Coronation Street's very own ice-cream man with an ice-cream van - Michael 'the ice-man cometh' Rodwell. Just make sure you don't get knocked over when you see him coming with his cone.
