Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby, was interviewed on ITV's This Morning this week. She will be celebrating 18 years of playing Leanne on Corrie this July.
In the interview, she talked about the Corrie fire, the death of Kal and her upcoming storyline where Simon will start lashing out at Leanne.
You can watch the interview here.
Jane also talked about her early days on the show when the Battersby's first arrived. I'd love Leanne's half-sister Toyah to return to Coronation Street. What do you say? Vote in our poll below.

Yes please! Especially with Leanne's upcoming storyline, Leanne could do with some support. The Battersby's were fabulous, I would even welcome Les and Janice back with open arms. Even though I really liked Leanne's relationship with the Price's, the Battersby's will always be Leanne's family IMO.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I feel so old knowing the Battersby's have been on the show for 18 years. Feels like just yesterday they rocked up as the chav family from hell.
Trouble is, it'll never happen, not with the same actress anyway.
ReplyDeleteThat would be *excellent* Flaming Nora....ummm....now do you know something that we don't, pray tell ??
ReplyDeleteIt certainly can't be any worse than the "return" of Sara and Bethany which in my humble opinion was a terrible mistake. I can't stand either one of them and the sooner they return to Milan the better. They add nothing to the show all we need is 2 more people added to that highly dysfunctional family.
ReplyDeleteToyah is her half-sister, as is Eva. So why not develop the latter relationship?
