Antony Cotton denies Strictly Come Dancing rumours

Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully on Coronation Street, was interviewed on ITV's Lorraine today.

Antony was there to promote his support for the military charity SSAFA and their Big Brew Up campaign leading up to Armed Forces day on 27th June.

Antony also discussed Sean's romance with the lovely Billy the Vicar, Corrie's upcoming live episode, the cast's final farewell to Anne Kirkbride as Deirdre Barlow.  He also denied that he's going to do Strictly Come Dancing, as has been rumoured in the press.

He said: "It is one one of my favourite TV shows but my loyalty is with Coronation Street. I've just signed up to another year of Coronation Street so that takes me up to August 2016. You have to devote your life to it. You can't do both."

Watch the interview here. It's well worth a look for the montage of clips of Sean, especially the one where he cries "I have never, ever, had a hissy fit in my life!"
