Samia Ghadie announces her engagement

Samia Ghadie has announced via OK magazine that she's become engaged to Sylvain Longchambon.   Many congratulations to them both.

Samia is pregnant with Sylvain's baby. It will be her second child as she has a daughter, Freya to her previous husband Matthew Smith.

 The news that Samia is pregnant will of course mean that she'll be taking a break from Coronation Street when she goes off on maternity leave.

    Generational thing - trying to keep up with the trend. Let's hope she decides to stay home (or anywhere) to raise her children - Maria is completely directionless and boring.
