Video: Colson Smith on Faye's pregnancy storyline

The rather fab Colson Smith who plays Craig Tinker, and Lisa George, who plays his mum Beth, were interviewed on ITV's This Morning today.

It was Colson's first live interview and he did very well.

Colson explained that Craig has to convince his mum Beth that he's not the dad of Faye's baby girl on Coronation Street.  He talks about Craig's friendship with Faye and how Craig helps out Faye and is present when she gives birth.

He says that the storyline is good fun to play and is an important one too in that it does happen in real life.

Talking about Darryl the rat, Colson says it wees a lot on the Corrie set!

You can watch the video here.

  1. I hope somebody puts it on Youtube, so we in Canada can see it too. Colson Smith has a great number of fans over here as well!

We all like Craig as he seems be the only person on the Street with a shread of decency. The rest are selfish, cheating, bed hopping lunatics.

  3. Craig is very recognisable as the 'oddball' kid in the class. He never gets the girl and has to make do with being their best mate. Colson Smith is brilliant and has a great future as a character actor.

  5. Whoever cast Colson Smith should be given whatever the Queen gives out...sorry I'm across the pond and not sure what that is....but they should get one! A true talent and will go far....love him to bits.

  7. Love Craig for all the reasons Frosty said above. He's decent, kind and loyal where as there are so many nasty bitchy characters he shines like a diamond. The trouble with the Corrie Bigwigs they give personality transplants. Hope they keep Craig as he is, he's lovely.

  9. How adorable is this kid? I hope they give him some quality screen time in the future and don't ruin his character. He is a bright spot on this show for sure.
