Award winning Shakespeare in Love star and former Emmerdale cast member Daniel Brocklebank was interviewed on ITV's Good Morning to talk about his new role in Coronation Street as Billy the gay vicar.
He doesn't give too much away when he Daniel talks about the role as Billy on Corrie. He comments on how gay men are represented on television and says that having a progressive vicar on a show like Coronation Street is a good thing. His best friend is Hayley Tamaddon, who plays Andrea, who he knew before he joined the show and he's also very good friends with Oliver Farnworth, who plays Callum.
Daniel says that he is contracted on Coronation Street until April 2015. I know I'm enjoying watching him very much indeed and it's going to be interesting to see how this story pans out.

ReplyDeleteMe too! I thought the first meeting in the club with Sean & Sinead was cute how it played out. I hope they don't bring him on to just break Sean's heart. Enough of that.
ReplyDeleteHe gives me a young Neil Diamond vibe.
