Richard Hillman hosts Coronation Street tour this Halloween

Coronation Street The Tour will make a chilling transformation as it prepares to welcome visitors to “Horrornation Street” this Halloween. From 27th to 31st October those who visit the tour will also be able to take part in some spooktacular events including Trick or Treat on the nation’s Street and walking the path of Coronation Street’s killers and victims with the “Murder Walks”.

On Halloween night, the Street’s most psychotic serious killer Richard Hillman (Brian Capron) will return to the scene of his crimes to terrify visitors with tales of his murderous rampage and he has plenty of stories to tell  from leaving Duggie for dead to killing Patricia with a shovel. Guests will also be able to grab the ultimate selfie with Richard wearing his famous black gloves.

Brian Capron, who played Richard Hillman, said: “I had some fantastic storylines during my time on Coronation Street. Richard was such a sinister and eerie character – I’ve certainly got some ghastly stories to share from his years of murderous crimes!”

Horrornation Street will run all week starting on October 27th until Halloween night. For the event the Street will receive a spooky make over with pumpkins and gruesome garlands plus, there will be fun for all the family throughout the week with face painting, trick or treat and other delights.
In the evening, when the Street is dark, guides will take visitors on a haunting walk around the different murder sites of Coronation Street. This will include the builders’ yard where Rob Donovan pushed Tina McIntyre over the balcony, the location where Richard “Tricky Dicky” Hillman murdered Maxine Peacock with a crowbar and many more.

More tickets have been released for Coronation Street the Tour and can be purchased now at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/coronationstreet. Tickets for the Halloween events are available at the standard price but are limited in numbers.
