ROB’S FATE LIES IN CARLA’S HANDS. His nerves in shreds, Rob irons his wedding shirt, wondering what Carla will do. Still conflicted, Carla tells Rob she needs to get ready for the wedding. Rob’s relieved that she’s chosen to keep quiet and as they set off Rob thanks her for standing by him. Tracy’s brimming with happiness as she, Amy and Ken leave for the wedding in a horse drawn carriage. Michelle ushers the guests into the venue, desperate for everything to be perfect after all her hard work. With the guests assembled, Rob waits nervously for Carla. Will she take her seat?
MICHAEL RECEIVES EARTH-SHATTERING NEWS. Unable to confide in Gail, it’s left to Eileen to accompany a jittery Michael to his hospital appointment. Back at home, Gail plans a Japanese evening to cheer Michael up but when David and Kylie clock Eileen and Michael arriving home in a taxi they wonder what’s going on?
FIZ IS RELIEVED WHEN CILLA FINALLY BIDS GOODBYE. Cilla packs her bags and tells Fiz and Tyrone she knows she’s outstayed her welcome. As Tyrone, Fiz, Chesney and Sinead see Cilla off on the bus, Sinead can see she’s in a lot of pain but will her family see her distress?
Elsewhere Michelle confides in Liz that things are really bad between she and Steve.

When Michael Rodwell first came in he was a chirpy upbeat character. Now we have to put up with all his angst and being constantly down in the dumps. Now of course he is palling up to Eileen contrived to cause trouble with Gail. Who hugs their neighbours anyway? Bored of him already.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me how Tracy can manage to find people that would be willing to come to her wedding. In real life, I doubt many of the neighbours would want to though I suppose they go for Ken and Deirdre's sake. I especially found it bizarre that Fiz and Izzy were with her on the hen night.
ReplyDeleteFind it interesting that Deirdre wont be attending the wedding of her daughter - you think she would turn up for this and then go back to her break away... Feels so unreal the stories at this time a bit disappointed
ReplyDeleteTvor, regarding Fizz being in the pub. She's either in the pub or at Roy's you'd think she'd have better things to do with her money after the way she nagged at Jason. I'm finding Fizz extremely annoying these days and will be glad to see the back of her. I hate the way she talks to Roy.
ReplyDeleteTracy brought her hen party to the regulars at the Rovers. You can't blame them for enjoying a free drink. But who would actually want to go the wedding itself? I don't think Tracy's produced a wedding gift list which she would if she thought there was a chance of someone buying a present!
ReplyDeleteTiddles G glad to see your not alone in getting tired of Frosty as for his complaining about Michael no longer being chripy and unbeat well now that he's found he's got a heart condition and may very well die I think he's entitled to be depressed don't you
ReplyDeleteIn Frosty's defense,I think the problem with Michael is perhaps as a new character he's featured a bit too much since he's Gail's latest boyfriend. He's always at the house! As for the heart condition,we've already had that storyline with Lloyd a few months ago was it necessary to have it again? That being said,I also thought it was contrived that Michael would suddenly turn to Eileen for support thus a ploy for yet another ridiculous Eileen\Gail fight.
ReplyDeleteI also want to stand up for Frosty whose comments always make me laugh, and some people on here should lighten up. We indeed already had the heart problems story with Lloyd and he soon reverted to smoking and drinking and eating pap. We have enough depressing characters already and Michael at first seemed like a breath of fresh air only to revert to someone who just seems to enjoy wallowing and looking glum.
ReplyDeleteYay, me too, Team Frosty!. The problem with Michael's story is Gail. Perhaps he should have been Eileen's partner and turned them into a comic duo. That worked quite well with John Thomson. Sorry, but Gail is very dreary atm and drags everyone around her down. More tedium and angst to come when Sarah arrives.
ReplyDeleteTEAM FROSTY!! I look forward to Frosty's comments. He is like a Greek chorus...speaking the truth with a comic flare. It's Corrie Street. We're not bashing the Queen! (May she Long Live!!)
