ITV Job Vacancy: Photographer at Coronation Street

Photographer, Coronation Street – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Manchester

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced photographer to join the Coronation Street team, one of ITV’s most enduring, popular and successful brands covering a 6 month sabbatical.

As our Photographer you will shoot episodic pictures for press use to represent Coronation Street in the media and shoot special photography as requested by the Soaps Picture Publicity Manager.  You will work creatively from a brief and within a specified budget.  You will edit your own photographic material on return to the Picture Desk and ensure all imagery conforms to compliance and copyright rules and guidelines.

Ideally you will have proven experience of shooting on a television drama, although we are equally interested in professional photographers who are looking for a career in television photography.  You will be highly creative and will have undertaken the appropriate photography training and be able to demonstrate qualifications in this field.

Experience of working on Apple Mac, Adobe Photoshop, Photo Mechanic and the ability to retouch images is essential.  With a passion for television and knowledge of the ITV brands, you will be able to shoot attention grabbing images and come up with creative ideas.  You will be a self starter with the ability to work under pressure and without constant supervision.

Flexibility is also required as the work will mainly take place on set, often outside of normal office hours

If you have experience on shooting television drama and the photography skills and experience to help us promote the nations favourite soap, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date for applications – Thursday 25th Sept
