Will Gail marry Michael - Yay or Nay?

She's got form, has Gail.  Always chooses the wrong fella, over and over again.

And as much as I'm liking the character of Michael Rodwell, played by Les Dennis on Coronation Street, I'm also thinking that he could turn out to be Gail's future husband too.

What do you think? Will Gail marry Michael, and indeed should she - yay or nay?

Liking the entrance of Les Dennis so far - wonder if he is tempted to go into his Mavis impression! LOL.

Gail does not need another husband. Its the kiss of death anyhow.............

  2. It's not likely he will stay with the show a long time, though, is it? And marraige to Gail might just be the kiss of death. Literally. Only one of her husbands has got out alive.

  3. I don't suppose Les Dennis has too much else on offer so he'd probably be delighted to stay on. I could see Michael becoming Gail's pet project but I'd be unhappy if it turned into a romance. Does every single woman on Corrie need a man?

I hope tptb have taken advice on this storyline. It's only a fantasy in Corrieworld, but there's a chance that victims would be put off the restorative justice programme if they thought the burglar, who obviously knows their address, might stalk them.

  4. I too am liking LD as Michael so far, but it's a little early to judge whether he'd make a suitable husband for Gail. He's only been in here episodes!

  5. I'm glad Les D has joined Corrie and I wish him lots of luck . But I don't want him to marry Gail .

  7. Ah, it's the revolving Gail/Audrey winds up with a troublemaker/loser story-line. I was wondering when you'd show up again, old chum. Just like "Carla gets involved in a murder" and "Peter is a two-timing bastard" have.

    Seriously though, I hope not.
