From the newest to the longest serving member of cast, children and pets, everyone gathered on the cobbles of the set at MediaCityUK in March for the new line-up.
Now the photograph has been released hot on the heels of the show being awarded a prestigious BAFTA on Sunday night.
And to top off an already fantastic week the new building was yesterday (Tues) officially dedicated to Coronation Street creator Tony Warren.
Hundreds of cast and crew gathered as ITV CEO Adam Crozier and Coronation Street Executive Producer Kieran Roberts were joined by Tony to unveil a sign naming the new studio ‘The Tony Warren Building’.
A five foot cake model of the street was cut by Barbara Knox whilst William Roache raised a toast to Tony and the programme.
And here's the cake:

I want one of those cakes!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see if you can figure out if any of the cast were photoshopped in. Colson Smith looks too large and out of place for one, i don't think he's quite that much taller than the actor playing his mother.
ReplyDeleteLOL what a good eye you have Tvor!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even 'see' Craig in the photo, but when I did! He looks very much bigger and taller than Beth!
Steve & Kevin also look photoshopped in :)
ReplyDeleteRe Craig, he's a teenager, they can just shoot up really quickly, plus how often do we see him standing next Beth - he seems to me to always be sitting down. Doesn't look photoshopped to me, however Kevin does.
ReplyDeletei think some of the people in the back rows are standing on things so they can be seen.
ReplyDeleteKevin's DEFINITELY been photoshopped in.
ReplyDeleteLittle Hope appears twice, once with Fiz and once with Tyrone.
ReplyDeleteIs Hope played by twins? Small children characters often are. Maybe that's why there are two of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see they didn't forget Eccles.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Dennis?
ReplyDeleteNZ Coro Junkie: Dennis is sitting beside Roy in the front row, to the far right. When you look at this group picture, you realize just how many characters there are - too many!!
ReplyDeleteHave now tried 8 times to get past the robot characters....grrr!
