Coronation Street's male strippers

With Kal getting his kit off in Coronation Street next week when he steps in for a male stripper at the Bistro for a hen night party, let's have a look at other male strippers who've appeared on Coronation Street.

    Scene's like Steve & Lloyd's dance are why I watch Corrie. Scenes like Stripper Kal (who, IMHO, is a bit long in the tooth for this kind of thing and a bit soft for a personal trainer) are why I fast forward.

    Wasn't there a mechanic Sam who moonlighted as a stripper a few years back?

    John McE, do you have daughters or sisters? If a Ken stripped, the ladies would be a bit underwhelmed. He, how shall we say, doesn't have the right stuff for this job. ;)

    The Python strpper was mechanic Sam played by Scott Wright. His only storyline was getting his kit off, I think he even did his interview at garage shirtless. The above occasion mentioned above was Liz's hen night.

    Agreed, Kal is much too old and plain-jane in the physique department for this completely ridiculous and cringe-worthy story line. The entire thing just makes both Kal and Leanne look pathetic.

    John was referring to the 'Ken' doll as in 'Ken and Barbie' not Ken Barlow. What a sight that would be!

    'oh no, the stripper has pulled out. What WILL i do??!'. This is such a stupid, over-used Neighbours-style plot device.

    Also doesn't say much for the how the writers portray women's brains. 'Ooo..i'm inevitably going to pull him now I've glimpsed his (alleged) pecs'. Demeaning for men and women. Corrie increasingly doesn't 'get' women.

    And yes, I was indeed referring to the Ken doll, not Ken Barlow. Eeeerrgh!
