The move of the Coronation Street set from Quay Street to Trafford has been captured in an hour-long documentary called Coronation Street: A Moving Story. It'll be aired on Thursday March 6th on ITV. Don't worry, we'll remind you on the day that it's on, so you don't miss it.
TV journalist Ian Wylie previews the documentary on his website The Life of Wylie.
It's definitely worth a read and it's here.
Those interviewed on the documentary include an emotional Barbara Knox (Rita Tanner) and Corrie creator Tonny Warren who are captured as they say goodbye to the old Corrie set.
A TV team spent two years documenting the rise of the new Corrie HQ
at Media City where cast and crew began filming in early January. The first episodes made at Trafford is due on screen soon.
The documentary also includes film discovered in the Granada archives and unseen for half a century.
Ian says that the documentary is: "A lovingly made film and essential viewing for all Coronation Street fans. And yes. Best have that box of tissues handy."
