Over the next few weeks, the ITV Coronation Street website is doing a daily Christmas countdown. They'll be showing classic clips of and teasers and trivia about Corrie Christmases.
Today, they've got a clip from Christmas Day 1997, with the Battersbys eating Theresa the turkey, that was run over by Les.
The website says:
"A turkey for tea may be a traditional feast for Christmas time, but perhaps not one by the name of Theresa.
After being spared the chop by eco-warrior Toyah, Theresa the Turkey fell foul of Les' driving - when it wandered into the road in front of his car.
Waste not, want not - Theresa the roadkill turkey made it onto the Battersby's Christmas dinner menu, but not everyone was as thrilled as hungry Les."
