ReplyDeleteI don't understand why they have to bring a previously nice, sympathetic character back as a cheat, a liar and a manipulator. I was looking forward to Todd coming back, but not if it's going to go down the Tracy Barlow route.
I agree Graeme... when I read the week's spoilers, it reminded me distinctly of when they brought Ryan back, and also made him a manipulative scrounger... not loving the character change.
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to Amber.
ReplyDeleteAnd why does Todd need a job at the Bistro when he has a perfectly good law degree and a Street full of characters who are frequently on wrong side of law?
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to Ryan too. What is wrong with these writers? They really lack imagination and credibility.
ReplyDeleteI rather liked Todd so I hope the silliness of him causing grief is just a lead in to him and Marcus getting together.
ReplyDeleteI always liked Todd as a character and was happy to hear he was coming back. I hope they don't ruin him.
ReplyDeleteI suppose the character would have to have "burned all his bridges" in London to be returning to his Mum's little back-street home; what else could the writers do to bring him back, presumably with interest and for a stay longer than a weekend visit?
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame though; maybe Todd was always just too nice, and 'nice' doesn't create excitement and interest?
Why is Todd wearing Elsie Tanner's raincoat in this Photo haha !!!
