Pics: Carla and Peter's Coronation Street wedding

There are paparazzi pictures online of Coronation Street filming Carla Connor's wedding to Peter Barlow.

The pics show the cast and crew filming in Manchester as the couple shoot scenes for their upcoming wedding.

Carla, played by Alison King, is seen walking around with a white wedding veil around her head while wearing a pair of dungarees.  Carla's bridesmaid looks set to be Michelle Connor, wearing a gold bridesmaid dress.

If the wedding goes smoothly (well it might, you never know) then it's the 3rd marriage for Carla with previous husbands Paul Connor and Tony Gordon.  And it's the 4th marriage for Peter with previous wives from a bigamist marriage, Shelley Unwin and Lucy the florist (Simon's mum) and Leanne Battersby.

    Love Carla and Peter and I'm disappointed that they've decided to throw an affair storyline in for Peter and Tina.

    Haha! I'm loving the dungarees-with-a-wedding-veil-look that Alison King has gone for!

    She looks stunning.

    Chris Gascoyne looks good, Julie Hes and Samia Ghadie look lovely but I'm not so sure about Michelle's bridesmaid dress.

    She looks beautiful and glad she has a better hair color, that black was so unnatural, not Michelle needs to change hers because it was never that drastic black.

    Holy smokes! What a horrible bridesmaid dress on Michelle. Gold lame snake skin?
    I'm not a big fan of the big white dress and all the trimmings when it's a third wedding.

    I've noticed just lately the 'softening' of Carla, lighter hair and clothes, are we going to see a slight change in her character? She's certainly been very kind where Hayley is concerned.

    Wasn't Peter married before off-screen? I thought he returned to the street in 2000's live episode having split from his first wife?

    @elvis86 yes his wife's name was Jessica, who had actually appeared in 1986 with him at Susan's wedding to Mike Baldwin. They married off-screen in 1990, but when he returned in 2000 they where separated (with Peter stating she had an affair while he was in the Navy).

    Carla looks like she's been taken out of a fairytale! Peter is a very lucky man.

    The producer and the writers haven't held back with this wedding, have they?! I cannot wait to see what happens.

    Sorry but Michrlle looks awful, grim and hardfaced. Will the wedding go ahead or will there be a BIG reveal at the last moment I ask? I am surprised any churches or registry offices within a 25mile radius take bookings from anyone with a Coronation Street address any more!

    Carla looks very beautiful. Julie Hesmondhalgh looks lovely too. In fact all the cast look great and I think Michelle and her dress may look better on screen. Hopefully.

    There's bound to be a dramatic reveal at the wedding though surely. Peter and Tina's affair being exposed by Rob maybe?
