I'm actually pleased with the results of these awards tbh. All recipients are worthy. TBF, Emmerdale has been on top form and deserve the accolade of Best Soap, the first time it's ever won it I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteSteve McDonald is a funny character, because I always smile and laugh at his expressions. :)
Well done everyone. Let's hope the rest of the awards over the next year will be as deserving. Here's hoping.
What's the betting that soapy producers and writers are all too aware of the categories awards are made in, and shape the writing accordingly?
ReplyDeleteAll very formulaic.
Well deserved for Kirsty Soames. But Steve funny? A buffoonish clod more like but there is no accounting for some senses of humour. No doubt this award will turn him into even more of a fool.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least it wasn't EE that took best soap!
ReplyDeleteWhere is Mary Taylor's name on the list of Coronation Street's cast. She is my favourite person as she always lights up the screen, and I would like to see a lot more of her. She is at her very best with Norris.
