Digital Spy reports on a story in today's Sun on Sunday that Kate has agreed a trial separation from TV producer husband Jon Connerty six years after they married.
Sources told the paper that the pair have grown apart and insisted that no-one else is involved in the split.
Kate's husband will apparently move out of their home in London but will continue to share custody of their 5-year-old son Otis.
