Coronation Street’s William Roache, who plays Ken Barlow, will be one of the guests of honour at the Malpas Arts and Literature Festival in Cheshire this spring.
William will be appearing ‘In
Conversation’ at the event held across the village from
Thursday, May 16, to Sunday, May 19.
Mr Roache will talk about his life and career in television,
alongside TV gardening expert Monty Don and Grange Hill creator Phil
Redmond.
Diana Mather, one of the organisers said: "We are very excited to
have stars like the charismatic TV gardener Monty Don and Coronation
Street star William Roache with us on Saturday, May 18"
