What an excellent idea, great blog post Llifon!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! 25% of the 1960s cast is currently in the show! Ken, Emily, and Dennis. Mildly surprised that Annie beat Elsie for number of episodes.
ReplyDeleteOoops, I should qualify that -- 25% of the 1960s top 12 faces is currently in the show!
ReplyDeleteand those three still on the show plus one other are the only ones still alive, I think?
ReplyDeleteYes, Anne Reid (Valerie) being the other one.
ReplyDeleteMost probably Annie and Jack are the top characters because every episode had a scene in the Rovers, which both of them would appear in.
ReplyDeleteAnnie is my all-time favourite Corrie character. Doris Speed was wonderful!
