Corriefest, Coronation Street UK fan convention, Saturday 5 January

As part of Lassfest, there's going to be a Coronation Street fan convention, Corriefest, which runs on Saturday 5 January in the Lass o'Gowrie pub. Again, you'll need to buy tickets in advance as it will sell out.

Corriefest's guest of honour will be Coronation Street writer JOHN STEVENSON - one of Corrie's legendary scribes with nearly 400 episodes under his belt from the Seventies to the Noughties!

MC'd by Charlie Ross, John will be joined by guests drawn from both sides of the camera, including SUE JENKINS, JUNE WEST and a couple of special surprise guests. There will also be screenings of rare footage courtesy of Kaliedescope, a special quiz courtesy of Giles Bastow and more to be announced.

Corriefest is presented in support of Myeloma UK and all surplus generated from ticket sales will be donated to this worthy charity. Tickets cost £6.00 and are available from http://www.wegottickets.com/location/1313
 

Corriefest is part of Lassfest, the Lass o'Gowrie's annual entertainment programme which runs from January 2nd – February 2nd, 2013.
