There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Sun that says Tracy Barlow is going to get herself a new fella- and it'll be be Carla Connor's brother Rob Donovan.
Dating Rob looks like it's going to be another way for Tracy to get back at Michelle for pinching Steve off her.
Our old friend, Mr Corrie Source tells The Sun: “Tracy and Rob are a match made in soap heaven. They will be fiery, passionate and out to cause trouble."
The pair will get together in February next year. It could work, yes, or Tracy getting together with the knicker boss could be a load of pants.

Ooh, how fabulous! Let's have them marry, and leave to start a branch of Underworld in Timbuktu (sorry, anyone from Timbuktu:)

ReplyDeleteOh please no! How unpleasant!
Excellent news. What with the Corrie writers' liking for recycling stories, I predict she'll take to Rob with a blunt implement and then be hauled back to the pokey, where she flamin' well belongs.
ReplyDeleteMore grinning and gurning from Kate Ford, and more flat-pack acting from Marc Baylis (I had to look the actor's name up, he's made so little impression). Will Michelle be that bothered? Carla will wipe the floor with her if necessary. Can the producers really not see that Tracy should be written out? Believe me, I don't love to hate her. I don't care enough.
ReplyDeleteI can see it though. He seems so far to be the type that is very cavalier about his relationships so he and Tracy would pretty much just be in it for the fun. He wouldn't be serious and she could eventually be and it'll be Charlie Stubbs all over again.
ReplyDeleteOh..what a huge surprise. Thanks...looking forward to this...not.
ReplyDeleteMore Tracy flatline dialogue, smirking, threats...hey..they're the same character!
Dont tell us - she gets pregnant????
ReplyDeleteWhy not? He's about the only one who hasn't had a turn on Billy's Bike. Keep that statue handy!
ReplyDeleteThese storylines with Tracy make little sense to me as far as I know she and Steve are still married so all these public liasons should have given him enough grounds for an uncontested divorce.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Collinson sort this out before he has her hooked up with every live male on the Street.
Oh I forgot he doesn't care about continuity or even what happened in the previous episode now that he's leaving he doesn't care what kind of messes he makes for the new producer to sort out.
Great, I like Rob and I think he's up to the job of handling Tracy, more than up to the job. He won't put up with her whining ways and underneath he's conniving so they are a good match, should have been happening sooner, matching her with Ryan was stupid. Ryan needs to be matched with Chesney's girlfriend, she is about his speed in age and mentality. The writers need to start paying attention to some of the blog comments because there are better suggestions here than the story lines they come up with.
ReplyDeletePoor Amy. She has been neglected for the past year and looks like she will not be fed or watered by either parent in the coming year.
ReplyDeleteUnlike many others, I do find Rob attractive. However, his acting has not been included in my equation. I would love to see him hook up with Tracy, out play her, kill her in some horrible manner, and leave the Street either on the run or in the tank! Don't forget now Janice, children on Corrie are merely accessories, so Amy is serving her purpose quite well.
ReplyDeleteSo Peter's sister and Carla's brother? Yuck. What next, Simon and Amy?
ReplyDeleteYour friend Mr Corrie Source is clearly suffering from acute delusions and needs to go for a lie down in a darkened room. An unappealing liaison between two of the least appealing street characters.
ReplyDeleteToo horrible to think about.......
