Kirk fancies Beth??? She is REPELLENT! He can do better.
ReplyDeleteI disagree whole-heartedly with you, Stephen! Both Beth and Kirk are fresh and funny, and I really hope they do get together! It appears you have "how females should look" issues...
ReplyDeleteI like Beth - and she scrubs up quite nicely when she wants to.
ReplyDelete*sigh* Maybe folks don't like her cuz she's not a Size 0.

I disagree too. I think it would be fun to see how Beth and Kirk get on as a couple. He's not the sharpest tool but he's funny and has a good heart. And I like Beth, she's funny and usually pretty upbeat but she's not a pushover, and she's not mean spirited like Cilla and other have been in the past. I hope things work out for them.
ReplyDeleteKirk's a sweet but dopey guy who needs a sweet and patient gal. Beth is a quirky firecracker who needs a bloke who can handle her. I just feel there's something between them, perhaps their age difference? I find their pairing creepy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anonymous above -- I like both characters and the actors' considerable talents are BOTH under-employed for want of some good storylines for them. But pairing them up is creepy. Kirk should be paired up with someone sweet NOT frazzled and a firecracker like Beth. I don't really see Beth as another Cilla, but the creepiness factor comes in because it's a bit like Kirk going out with Cilla. I was hoping more for a story involving Beth and her son Craig and another storyline involving Kirk and an outsider love interest...
ReplyDeleteThe storylines these days, esp. this surrogacy thing is just awful and with its heavy-handed approach, I find it difficult to care what way the story swings...
That Tommy's an arse! Right or wrong, Tina's willing to go that far to get the money to clear HIS debts and all he can think about is his pride. It's not like Gary's going to give her one, it'll be the turkey baster so to speak. If you weren't such a wishy washy loser Tommy, you wouldn't be in this mess!
ReplyDeleteI understand Rita's going to offer to lend Tina money, I only hope his pride's not going to be too big for that too.....
