Loose Woman Denise Welch, who played Rovers Landlady Natalie Barnes on Corrie, has had quite a rocky road through life. In her autobiography, She revealed a cocaine habit, infidelity and a battle with depression.
On September 28, she's going to be interviewed on Piers Morgan's Life Stories where she's going to reveal more of her hushed up secrets. Reflecting a current Corrie storyline, she's admitting she used to beat her ex-husband, actor Tim Healy. She also confesses to being a sex addict.
If this sort of thing interests or amuses you, mark your calendars.

Do you know what? If it wasn't for the odious Piers Morgan I'd watch this but I jsut can't bring myself to look at him, he's so horrible, such a nasty person.
ReplyDeleteNot keen on her either, absolutely self obsessed
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Piers Morgan so i'll take your word for it.
ReplyDeleteI have no time for Denise at all. I really cannot believe there is anything more I wish to know about this huge egoed D lister. Not even interested in a corrie way as Natalie was a non starter for me. She was just a two dimensional wannabe elsie in a constant armless dress - micky
ReplyDeleteShe is so self opinionated and can't act unless it's for the sympathy vote.
DeleteI'm not a huge fan of Piers Morgan, but do enjoy his Life Stories programme but I WILL NOT be watching this blonde empty brained article! She won't be admitting to anything new. We already know all the dirty facts of her life without having to listen to them again. Sex addict is just, in her case, another excuse for a hooker. Then again, what guy in his right mind would want to have sex with her? She never shuts up, me me me!
I'm not keen on Piers Morgan but nobody forces these celebs to go on his show. He must have some personal charm to get the names to agree. As for Denise Welch, sorry but she has become a parody of herself - too much slap and gob. If she can sing country, she'd be a great hit at the Grand Old Opry.
ReplyDeleteIs Piers really a nasty person? Have only seen him on his US show but sometimes find it hard to understand his speech. As for Denise Welch, she does manage to keep herself in the public eye albeit stumbling from parties or pubs. I did enjoy her time on Corrie.
ReplyDeleteHer character on Corrie was just as unappealing as her personal life.
ReplyDeleteAll the details of her life left me wondering if this was a publicity stunt or some confession requirement for a self-help group or pseudo-religious organization. I suppose if she was heavy into drugs that would make her violent. Narcistic, it seems.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel Nora, I can't watch him either - he actually makes my skin crawl.
ReplyDeleteHe's one of the most odious people in the world - if you don't already know why he was sacked as Mirror editor, have a look at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3716151.stm for example
