Corrie goes to Kenya

Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) and Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) will be heading to Kenya to take part in a documentary to raise awareness about HIV.

The trip is being filmed for a hard-hitting two-hour documentary, Corrie Goes to Kenya, which will be screened on ITV1 in July.

The show will be fronted by Ryan and Brooke along with Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) and Ben Price (Nick Tilsley).

Corrie Goes To Kenya will feature the actors flying to the African country to visit struggling families and raise awareness about HIV in the country.

A production source told Digital Spy: "This trip will be a real eye-­opener. The cast will come face to face with people whose lives could not be more different from their own. When you talk to people affected by these problems, the impact is huge."
