Vote for Corrie! TV Choice Awards 2012

Voting has now opened in this year's TV Choice Awards.   Corrie choices up for nominations are as follows:

Best Soap Actor:  
Chris Fountain (Tommy Duckworth), Chris Gascoyne (Peter Barlow) and Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs).

Best Soap Actress:
Jane Danson (Leanne Barlow), Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre), and Alison King (Carla Connor).

Best Soap Newcomer:
Lisa George (Beth Tinker), Natalie Gumede (Kisty Soames) and Catherine Tyldesley (Eva Price).

Best Soap:
Obviously... Coronation Street

    I'm guessing that these awards won't be handed out until much later in the year. In one of the categories there was a program, Hit & Miss, which hasn't even started yet!

    Well you know what, the state of the street right now I wouldn't vote for it. It doesn't deserve it. It's bad and it's not been good for a long, long while. It's sloppy, badly written, sensationalist clap trap, with virtually no continuity. Not that long ago it was a brilliant, brilliant show.
