There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Mirror that says Corrie bad lad Terry Duckworth will open a lap dancing club when he returns to the cobbles.
Corrie Producer Phil Collinson hinted Terry’s return would send shockwaves through the community. He said: “This time he’ll not only be blighting the life of Tommy, but the lives of everyone with a typically audacious scheme.”
Nigel will start filming this month, appearing on screen in April. He said: “The show has changed, so will present Terry with a different landscape to before.”

There is absolutely no reason for Terry to return to the Street and as for opening up a lap dancing club, who would frequent it? Norris and Ken? A stupid story if its true, get rid of the fak-tre and the backstreet garage and old dear hairdressers if you want to drag Corrie into 2012.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't disagree more. A sleazy dive like a lap-dancing club is just the sort of thing Terry would do and he'd have no end of objections from the likes of Emily - pity Blanche is no longer around to stand up to him!
ReplyDeleteAs long as they don't bring back Cheryl to dance in it! Aaaaggh!
ReplyDeletewell i think the rovers will complain and of course nick he wouldent want to loose buisness .i live in canada was wondering how far behind we are now ,we just had carla crash through the bookies window both her and stella are in hospital she is ok but it dont look good for stella,
ReplyDeletebc..you can go on Corrie.net which will show you where we are in Canada. CBC is trying to catch up but the way I figure it, you're looking at about 6-7 months. Right now we're seeing Carla just starting to have second thoughts about marrying Frank Foster - he's picking out houses etc. The rape hasn't occured yet and Fiz is still in jail whining about her baby.
ReplyDeletethanks anonymus yes frank put an offer in on a house but lost it .his parents just came in i got the inpression by the look on his fathers face he dident believe frank was driving the car .i had a great laught when tyrone kirk were holding that guy in the freezer ,talk about the stooges man those guys are thick .i still cant figure out when norris made a citizens arrest why he spent the night in the cells to .
ReplyDeleteBut is the club actually on the street, or is Terry lodging there? Strange enough to have an up-market bistro but a nightclub as well. Can't imagine a club would get an entertainment licence if it was on the Street, or planning permission. There again, when has reality ever bothered the writers?
ReplyDeleteIf it is to be on the Street or very near by, where exactly can it be? There's really only Nick's Bistro premeses that could be converted, and I haven;t heard any rumours it's going to fail.
ReplyDeleteI guess Gail will have something to do now other than cleaning Nicks bog!
