Wendi Peters - from Coronation Street to cake queen

Wendi Peters, who played the gob-almighty Cilla Battersby-Brown on Coronation Street, is currently appearing in The Vagina Monologues which is on tour in the UK.

And when she's not acting, she's baking. She describes herself as an actress, mum and baking addict.

Wendi has set up a blog to showcase her cake making. Called Pudding Queen, Wendi blogs with pictures of her baking, all of which look amazing.

I reckon it'd be great to have Cilla back on the Street when Chesney becomes a daddy this Christmas - making Cilla the nanna from hell!

    I really, really want Cilla back on the Street. She was the funniest character. I still remember when the tax man called round (she was doing a scam) and he asked for some info. She said, "That's for me to know and you to find out." Priceless.
