See the model for Corrie's new set, in detail

Make: Manchester, the company who made the model for Corrie's new set have released a few new pictures on their site, and their Facebook, if you look close enough you will notice a few changes, such as Underworld now actually looking bigger on the outside than on the inside, and Victoria Street's back street opening up.

It will be a little weird seeing the Bonded Warehouse from Granada Studios being rebuilt in the 21th Century and Museum of Science and Industry being replicated as a facade, here at the blog we're looking forward to seeing the completed set on our screens in 2013!

  1. I see that they've still got that second silly viaduct sprouting from next to the Rovers though.

  2. I'd rather have the arch there than never being able to see down Rosamund Street :p

I notice Mawdsley street now have bigger backyards and roofs

  4. This is going to be fascinating when they make the change. I'm really looking forward to seeing if they manage to make it seamless, how are they going to weather it properly?

I reckon they'll use the snow to cover it up, so after Christmas when the snow melts away the set suddenly looks different :P

  5. I'm thinking that maybe the Rovers will go up in flames, so they can redo the set for it to make it fit into the new larger outside look.

Also I'm betting that the set will be sort of worn down a little before it starts to be used on the show
