There's a Coronation Street spoiler in The Sun that says Tina and Kirsty will be involved in a Coronation Street car crash.
After what appears to be more arguing between Tina and Kirsty, Kirsty ends up chasing Tina's red Renault. Tina then slams on her brakes at traffic lights before Kirsty's patrol car smashes into the back, leaving her bleeding and unconscious.
There's pictures of the scenes being filmed at The Sun website here.
Eurgh rediculous !
ReplyDeleteWhy is Tina so jealous of Kirsty - feelings for Tyrone? Hope this is the beginning of the end for Kirsty - one really annoying character.
ReplyDeleteI was present at the filming and overheard Tina will be blamed by her police women nemesis, who claims to other police officers present that Tina wanted to kill her. William Grange. Portsmouth.
ReplyDeleteThe writers must really be scraping around for something they think will excite interest.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel sympathy for either character, or for the circumstances which are ridiculous and make me like Tina even less.
what is the point of Tina's character? Or Kirsty for that matter. Boring boring boring.
ReplyDeleteTina is mardy and miserable, jealous and mouthy and Kirsty has the potential of being just like her.
ReplyDeleteTotally boring; Tyrone deserves better, what were the writers thinking?
When Kirsty first arrived on the scene I thought she had great potential and was exactly what Tyrone deserved. I also really liked that they made her a police officer and by the looks of it a strong, independent woman. But this feud with Tina is beyond ridiculous and has made scenes with the two of them so uncomfortable to watch! We do not need this storyline; we need one where they become friends and play tricks on Tyrone and Tommy -- maybe this would be a good way to introduce something more than friendship developing between Tina and Tommy!
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought corrie was on the up again after the dreadful storylines over the past few months, they throw this at us.
ReplyDeleteTyrone should get together with Fiz, they are well suited.
ReplyDeleteTyrone's a nice bloke an' all but is he really worth two women who are supposed to be all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips fighting over? What's with Tyrone and car crashes? You'd think after that business with Molly and the baby he'd never get in a car again! And how ridiculous that a strong character brought in as a copper will use her patrol car over a "chick fight" and then blame Tina; ridiculous! The writers are probably going to hook Tina and Tyrone up and Fiz and Tommy; so dumb.
ReplyDeleteOh for goodness sakes write Tina out, the character just becomes nastier and nastier and rows and shouts at everyone. She was brought in as David's girlfriend but she has been kept on and on, for what - her looks, so shallow Mr Collinson. Kirsty is just a stupid Cheryl clone. Roll on 2012 when someone else can take over.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a really original storyline! I've just told all my work colleagues about it. They've gasped in admiration and promised to watch these episodes when they're screened.
ReplyDeleteCan we have a special DVD release of these episodes as well so that we can relive the excitement over and over again?
Is this the kind of rubbish the writers think viewers want to see?
ReplyDeleteTina is awful.
Her finest moment, IMO, was when she and Gail went to the morgue to see Joe.
The two actors sent chills up my spine.
Since then? Tina is a misery, the catalyst for any problem, from abusing Rita's kindness to cat-fights with Kirsty, who unfortunately, even though in a public service position, is always up for it.
Now, moving in with Ty, she's going to become a regular on the street.
I agre with anoymounous Tyrone and fiz are prfect for each other
ReplyDeleteand I like the name Kate
Don't mind Tina,but Kirsty is a nutter
