Sally Webster is about to make a show of herself tonight at John Stape's funeral but has doubts afterwards. She will confide in her new boss, oily smooth Frank Foster and the pair will become closer over the next few weeks. As we've already seen, Sally doesn't believe that Frank raped Carla, especially after Carla sacked her. She sees Carla as a spiteful cow and has firmly taken Frank's side.
But is that wise? Digital Spy reports, via "We Love Telly", that Sally Dynevor believes Sally Webster is gearing up for an affair with Frank and that it will be dangerous. An affair is not much of a surprise since Sally's knickers do tend to have rather loose elastic when it comes to exciting men. Now she's single, there's nothing to hold her back.
My take on this? I've been thinking over the last few days about how Frank is going to come to justice. You know he will, because that's soap law. I think he's going to either get rough with Sally or make a slip of the tongue and admit to the rape. I think Sally is going to be the one that ends up backing up Carla's story, convicting Frank. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it... for now!
I can understand people taking jobs from a rapist; everyone has to eat. But having a relationship with one? Sally is not that stupid, nor that disloyal. This is more unbelievable nonsense to squeeze the maximum out of a story that is rapidly becoming tedious.
ReplyDeleteHasn't this been done before? Sally doinking her boss? I guess Frank will threaten Sally at some point and she'll confess all to Kevin who will charge in and grab Frank by his lapels whilst yelling "DO ONE"!! in Franks face.
ReplyDeleteMight Mouse to the rescue!!
Frank comes off as menacing as a tube of toothpaste. His mother is another matter. That woman scares me!
I think Sally is that stupid. She's easily swayed by charm and "sophistication" because it appeals to her snobbery. Add a dose of righteous indignation over being sacked and she's ripe for it.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I want Sally to be on the receiving end of Franks nasty side to wipe that smug smile off her face!
ReplyDeleteI hope Sally does get involved with Frank. I've never liked her and her snobbery. Hope she gets taken down a peg or two or three!!

Can't Sally for once just keep her knickers on?
ReplyDeleteThe Webster family are always having sex!
I know it's not real life but to wish rape on a woman just because she's got ideas above her station and is very misguided is very very wrong
ReplyDeleteSally's own perceived holier than thou attitude and her fury at Carla firing her has given her blinders to Frank's dark side. She'll be swayed by his charm (slithery snake comes to mind) for a while but there will be a moment when all is clear, she'll say something to light his fuse, he attacks her and Kevin comes to the rescue thereby clearing the way for them getting back together and circumstantial evidence that he did rape Carla, so off to prison. I agree, his mother is much more frightening than Frank.
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone is hoping Sally gets raped, just that she see Frank's dark side in time to help Carla put him in jail and get taken down a peg or two herself.
ReplyDeleteWhat hasn't come out is whether these rapes/assaults have happened before. It seems very strange that out of the blue a man would turn violent towards 3 women in the space of a few months. I'm betting his father knows all too well what he's like and Frank has quite a bit of previous. Father says nothing because, quite understandably, he's terrified of his wife. It will all come out in the end.
ReplyDeleteHas Sally forgotten how Carla stood by her when she was diagnosed with cancer? Sally certainly needs to be taken down a peg or two and reminding her what others have done for her might bring her back to reality so she can see that Frank is a freak.
ReplyDeleteI think someone did mention to Sally that Carla stuck by her when she had cancer, but she didn't care. It was creepy watching her natter on to Frank, while you could see the wheels churning in his dark, slithery brain. Does she just confide so easily to anyone? She doesn't know Frank that well. It was well acted though, as she slipped from chattering about the funeral to getting that little glint in her eye for a new man. Yeeuck!
ReplyDeleteGod I can't stand Sally. She's always been a nasty, gobby cow and this latest episode at the funeral just confirms it. I hope Frank makes a right fool of her..... Public humiliation of Sally and Rosie is the only thing that makes watching them on the street bearable.
ReplyDeleteWell acted by "Sally", she's right back on form again!
ReplyDeleteShe's probably one of the most interesting characters on the street these days.
I agree that Frank would appeal to Sally's snobbery and that she is angry with Carla (justifiably so). But Sally is not a wet dishcloth like Cheryl and is not going to take nonsense from any man, as she has shown repeatedly recently. She might work for a rapist, but it is not credible that she would have a relationship with one. And at her age, Sally is not the trophy girlfriend that Frank is looking for.
ReplyDeleteSally has been taken down a peg or two. She's spent her life buying fish fingers for the girls' tea and drudging behind a sewing machine, when she clearly has the capacity to do more. Foisting nonsense on her, like getting involved with a rapist or disrupting funerals just wastes the character.
Adam i think it's credible because Sally doesn't believe he is a rapist. She thinks he's being stitched up by Carla. I think Sally will develop feelings but one sided, Frank may of course take advantage of that.
ReplyDeleteThis may sound incredibly shallow and Sally is a good looking woman but i doubt very much that after being with Carla and previously Tracy and fancing Maria and Michelle that Frank'd go for Sally. I agree with Tvor, maybe it'll be one sided and he'll use that to his advantage.
