Corrie Vicar writes his own Good Book

The name Jim Whelan may not be instantly familiar to Coronation Street fans - but his face certainly will be.  Jim has played a number of roles on the famous cobbles - he delivered, as a postman, the news to Jack and Vera that they had inherited enough money to buy the Rovers for example.  He's also played Weatherfield's vicar for a number of years and has been there to officiate, or referee, a number of big funerals, weddings and baptisms.

Now he has put pen to paper and written an autobiography called What a Life! The book, available in e-format only, will be published on 20 August at £5.99 and is available from http://www.apexpublishing.co.uk/

You'll find an interview with Jim about his various Corrie roles at my blog http://markllewellin.blogspot.com/

  1. I'm sure this is going to be flying off the shelves! Warhol predicted that one day everyone would get their 15 minutes of fame; even he never imagined they'd then write an autobiography detailing it!
