Coronation Street's new set: Construction update

Here's an overview pic of the Media City complex on the Salford Quays, the picture is from the University of Salford's Flickr page.

Not too much has been done so far, apart from the land being cleared, though they look to be getting ready to start building the foundations of the brand new Coronation Street! Take a look at the area from a different angle here.

    I know he area well. I walk through Media City most nights on my way home from work. I'm keeping an eye on the progress. :)

    lets hope uk citizens will get to see the set on visits instead of the usual bunch !!
