Coronation Street drama wins RTS award

Daran Little's Coronation Street drama The Road to Coronation Street won the award for Best Single Drama at last night's Royal Television Society Awards. 

A most well deserved win for an amazing programme. If you missed it, you can buy it on DVD from Amazon.

However, Corrie lost out to EastEnders in the award for Best Soap and Continuing Drama.

    This was absolutely excellent, watch if you can. Even Jesse Wallace who I am not normally keen on was top notch as Pat Phoenix,. Thoroughly deserves the awards, pity the impetus hasnt been kept up on Corrie.
