So, after two months, the Politanlink is once again running along the viaduct, in the week that seems to conclude most of the long running drama caused by the tram.
I am glad the tram is back up and running, it has always added more atmosphere to the area (especially since it's first on-screen appearance during Kelly's exit). I thought that Coronation Street would probably scrap the tram after the tram crash, but thankfully they have kept it.
Though, everytime I hear that rumble...
Arnt they bringing the driver in as a character as well?
ReplyDelete^ They seem to have forgotten the Tram driver, I'm sure he was suppose to return to the crash sight? But somehow I don't think he is anymore?
ReplyDeleteI think it makes Corrie seem weird - that noise. An "everyday street"... yet how many of us everyday people live right next to a noisy tram-line?
ReplyDeleteWell, an awful lot of people live next to railway lines and, oddly, you stop hearing the trains after a while ... just as I think we'll stop hearing the trams shortly ... ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, but it's not "everyday" - the vast majority of people don't!
ReplyDeleteActually, EastEnders has a railway arch too, doesn't it? Perhaps soap folk are naturally prone to living near train and trams! :)
