Other narrators announced so far are Ken Morley (Reg Holdsworth) and Gaynor Faye (Judy Mallet). You can read a full interview with Roy, touching on his career (he celebrates 50 years in show business this year), his Corrie days and the forthcoming play at http://markllewellin.blogspot.com/
I saw the play when it premiered at the Lowry and it was fantastic. I understand that it now includes the tram crash too!
We're seeing it in Cambridge next month, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew who was doing the narrating at Cambridge. I'd gladly pay to see Roy Barraclough doing it, but if it's Ken Morley (who I understood it would be), I'd rather not bother.
ReplyDeleteMe too Flaming!
ReplyDeleteIt's Gaynor Faye opening the show in Cambridge
ReplyDeleteI'm just gutted that it's not touring in Scotland! Saw it in Manchester and it was amazing. Would love to see it again - especially as the tram crash has been added. Although Alan Bradley being hit by the tram was the best bit of it.
