Butterflies star joins Coronation Street

Be still my beating heart. One of the big telly crushes I had as a teenager was on the older brother Russell on sit-com Butterflies.  And now, the actor who played him, Andrew Hall is joining Coronation Street.

Andrew will arrive as Claudia's boyfriend. We'll see him on screen on Friday 7 January.

Ooh, I've gone all peculiar.

    It was a shock to see him, havent seen him since he was the young turk in Butterflies! Good to have him in Corrie thou!

    Andrew and I were together as boyfriend/girlfriend at the age of 16, while he attended The Royal Grammar School in Guildford. I would love to get in touch with him...can anyone give me an address to make contact on? Julia
