Becky's sister Kylie to be married

There's an interesting story on Holy Soap which says Kylie Turner is going to marry someone who lives on the Street.

Actress Paula Lane has revealed Kylie shocks everyone with a wedding in 2011. She said: "We have a wedding. I can't reveal who it's with but it's involving Kylie. Watch this space. It's going to be fantastic. I didn't see that coming so I think it's going to shock a few people."

Confirming that the wedding is with someone who lives on the Street, she added. "Kylie's got a lot of tricks up her sleeve. It's very clever how it's all going to unfold."

She expects to start filming the plotline in February, and it will be screened in April.

Ooh, I wonder who the groom's going to be?  David?

  1. Oh god! Tracy, Becky, Tina and Kylie, one too many for the opening scene of Macbeth but all vying for the roles with gusto.
when you watch The Road To Coronation Street or any of the Corrie DVD collections released for Christmas you see just what Corrie is missing at the moment; characters you love in spite of their flaws rather than now; flaws first then clumsy attempts to endear them to the audience as an afterthought.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, Collinson can handle the bang crash finale style of television but translating that into a continuing drama is a different matter altogether.

  2. Oh good God! Can Corrie get any worse??

There's wayyyy too many utterly despicable characters on a very small street.

    C'mon writers/producers!

  3. Even more alarming is who would actually want to marry her?! I hope it isn't Gary. Hands off love!

  5. What on earth is she coming back again??? Why do the Corrie team have to drag things out so much, instead of less is more? Its getting really ludicrous now, no wonder EE leaves them so far behind time after time at awards time.

  6. I said it months ago and nobody really took notice of me. They are starting to run out of ideas, bringing characters back which have no real relevance, getting rid of characters.

It doesnt make sense to me, I guess they are starting to run out of storylines maybe?

Time for some new "storyline-thinkers" or maybe the end of corrie to be honest. Characters nobody wants to see, same old storylines.

  7. I could see it being Gary considering the state of mind he's in now. I can also see it being David who could do it just to tick everyone off. What about Tommy Duckworth? Also another possibility. Do i care? Not really but i do like Paula Lane, she's very good as a love-to-hate character. If she's sticking around, maybe they'll soften her a bit and give her more layers.

  8. Why do I have a feeling that Corrie is going to start going downhill...

  10. Hmmm, blind-sider, she says. Perhaps it's Steve. He's already so deep in the doo-doo that he could be blackmailed further (Tracy working at the Pub). Me thinks Becky will do whatever it takes to keep Max even if it means sacrificing Steve. It was reported not long ago here that Becky was going to go back to being nastier.

  13. Even with Tracy, Becky, Tina and Kylie in the lineup, I still prefer Corrie to EE. We recently got EE back here in Canada full-time. I always feel odd after watching it, sort of grimy, grey and despondent. I've never felt that even at Corrie's worst moments. That doesn't mean I'm not worried about some of these characters and how it will unfold with Kylie. She is a better actor than Kate Ford, but does everyone have to be so nasty when they arrive on The Street?

Leanne calmed down over the years and we've grown to love the Windasses. That's the difference between CS and EE, where they seem to STAY nasty forever. With all these troubled young'uns on Corrie, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were watching Misfits, without the superpowers!
