What Coronation Street Christmas presents did you get?

Come on then, let's have them - what Coronation Street Christmas presents did you get this year?  From Sunny Jim's brother, we were given fun Corrie gifts of  45rpm vinyl singles bought from a charity shop (50p each!) of Bill Tarmey's Wind Beneath My Wings ad Liz Dawn and Joe Longthorne singing Passing Strangers.  And, wahey, we also got this from my brother.

  1. I got nowt myself, but I got for my Corrie fanatic bezzie mate, a fab Hilda Ogden mug, coaster and tray set. I haven't seen him as yet to give it to him, and he does read this blog, so sorry "X" for ruining the "luvly" surprise!

  2. I didn't get anything because I'd already had Corrie's 50th book and the Unofficial Story in October. My gran got Bill Tarmey's autobiography though so I'll be looking forward to reading that in the New Year. I'm hoping to treat myself to the 1977 DVD as well.

  3. I received the new CD from my sister in the UK, and gave the 50th Anniversary book to my sister-in-law.
Wish I had received one of those kettles as well though, it looks lovely!

I got a 5 disc dvd set with episodes from the 60's. My husband and I also got front row tickets to see Roy and Hayley when they are in Mississauga in April.

My mother gave me an electronic Corrie quiz gadget which has been keeping me most amused. I've not scored a 10 yet, I clearly need to swot up a bit.
