Marcus and Sean to reunite

Here's some news that the Sun is touting today. It sounds as if Sean's ex-boyfriend, Marcus Dent may be making a return and if things work out, Sean and Marcus may get married! I won't bet on them living happily ever after because few soap couples do but I'll look forward to this storyline. I always liked Charlie Condou and Marcus, his character.

  2. Yay! I liked Marcus! It'll be great to have a NICE person on the show - considering what we've had lately.

I liked Marcus but why so many gay characters? Phil Collinson is obviously foisting his beliefs on everyone else what with Ken's gay grandson coming back also.

Er John, how many people in the Street - 50? How many gay people, including Marcus' return - 5, that 10% by my math. Must be something in the Weatherfield water.

  9. WHat difference does it make, though? As long as they're interesting characters. Ok, Sian isn't that interesting but Sophie is great. I don't expect Ken's grandson will be in it long term, just a visit and Sean is ingrained into the fabric of the Street. It'll be nice to have Marcus back and Sean needs a good fella!

  10. Manchester has quite a large gay community, Corrie represents that well - as it does with it's Irish-English population

  11. I'm holding out hope that there's room for one more gay character, Gail's dad and Ken's theater buddy Ted. Not even a phone call on Christmas, boo.

  12. I like Marcus so glad that he is returning, but not so thrilled at the prospect of Sean taking centre stage next year.

  13. Prefer Sean taking centre stage than Tracey & Nick! I'm pleased Marcus is coming back
