More details on Toxic Tracy's return

In the press today, we're given more details about Tracy Barlow's return to Coronation Street on Christmas Eve.

Tracy is said to be released from prison due to an anomaly in DNA evidence, and will face a retrial in the New Year, presumably then being found not guilty. She'll also set about trying to take daughter Amy from Steve and Becky, unsurprisingly.

Becky faces more trouble it is also reported when Kylie returns demanding a further £10,000 to allow them to keep Max, and she'll resort to robbing the cash from Dev's shop following its destruction in the tram crash.

  1. Its this kind of unrealistic, ridiculous storyline that ruins Corrie. No-one cares about Tracy.

  3. Oh for goodness sake, what sort of anomaly in the DNA can there be - it's not like there was anyone else involved! Why would they even be analysing the DNA now? And yawn at the awful Becky/Kylie storyline dragging on.

  4. That's odd.. since she actually KILLED HIM.
Why do the powers that be think that we love Tracy? Bad character, worse actress..

  5. Oh, no! Unless this whole thing is extremely well written, it's going to be torture. You'd think that after all the good stuff leading up to the 50th that we could avoid the dreaded T character!

  6. I wish Tracy had stayed upstairs where she was for years as a young girl. Corrie would have been better off for it!
