Having a ramble about Nov. 12 Corrie

Last night's Corrie was excellent stuff, wasn't it? The more I thought about it, the more I really enjoyed it. There was great acting and top notch writing. There was drama, mistakes and confessions were made, a stalker was revealed and there was friendship, support and a whole lotta guilt floating around. I've had a nice, long ramble about it over here. These episodes are definitely keepers for my collection.

  1. Leanne's gammy eye, looking in different directions, was acting up again on last nights show. It was really off putting during her scenes in the bar after the shag with Nick.

  2. Yeah, well it's no wonder - who's eye wouldn't do that if you drew the short straw and had to have it off with nasty Nick? It's a wonder it wasn't going round and round like a slot-machine cherry. It was either that or vomit for the poor deluded girl.

And what was Jason and his fish supper doing, zipping up his fly in front of the others?
    - It looked like he failed to make it all the way to the toilet in time.

  3. Yeah Jason doing up his fly and obviously not washing his hands before his fish supper. Sorry I didnt rate the episode, the Carla and Peter business is so unbelievable its almost like a spoof. What happened to the wailing that Lee-am was the only one for her, and she has conveniently forgotton that Leanne is supposed to be her best friend! Great scenes with Pam though which redeemed it for me.

  4. Liked the scenes in the new bar but didn't like the Nick/Leanne or Carla/Peter stuff. Find both very unbelievable, especially Nick and Leanne. I can't get past Ben Price looking so old either! My favourite part of the episodes was the Websters over to dinner at Tyrone and Molly's.

  5. Fully agree with you Tvor, found Friday night's episodes brilliant viewing and thought the acting was superb, especially the lovely Jane Danson.

Setting up some great storylines to play out over the next few weeks leading up to the fateful tram crash.

  6. Absolutely agree with you Kate. Nick is supposed to be the same age as Leanne, but he looks older than Peter. It's ridiculous stories like Peter/Carla and Leanne/Nick that ruin the programme.

  7. Some parts were quite good on Friday but I'm finding the Leanne/Nick and the Carla/Peter scenes so boring. In fact, I was so bored I reached for the Argos book while they were showing those scenes to have a look what presents I'm going to buy for Christmas. Oh dear.
