Golden Girl

It's Coronation Street's golden anniversary, and to celebrate, Helen Flanagan's been painted gold.  The tribute to Goldfinger's Jill Masterson is for Closer magazine, and she also gives an interview where she talks about her recent weight loss and her happiness with Rosie Webster. Closer is on the shelves of your local newsagent now. I just hope she left a bare patch at the base of the spine, because we all know how it could turn out...

  1. Personally, I think David Walliams looked more attractive painted gold, than Ms. Trout-Pout does.

  2. I like Rosie, & if she wants to get sprayed in gold paint starkers fair dos, each to their own, but not another one banging on about weight loss, surely?

  3. "...Helen Flanagan's been painted gold. The tribute to Goldfinger's Jill Masterson is for . . ."

Er - why??? Why the tribute to Jill Masterson or indeed Goldfinger?

  4. Roy Cropper's Anorak and Train Spotter's Corner:

" ...I just hope she left a bare patch at the base of the spine, because we all know how it could turn out..."

As Roy might say with one finger quietly raised: "Ahh point of order . . ."

I know that's posted with tongue firmly in cheek, but we do all know that it's a complete myth, don't we?

It's a misconception that's been circulating ever since the film came out in the mid 60's. You won't die if painted from head to toe in gold paint.
Skin does not breath - period.
