Coronation Street toast stamps go on sale for charity

With Warburtons as one of the Coronation Street's brand partners for the 50th anniversary, they've launched a limited edition range of Corrie toast stamps which were unveiled by Jenni McAlpine, who plays Fiz Brown.

The exclusive toast stamps will be available to buy on eBay for a limited time only with all proceeds going to The Coronation Street 50th Anniversary Appeal supporting three charities voted for by the cast; The NSPCC and Cancer Research UK and The Christie.

Each set of three toast stamps includes the infamous three flying ducks that once hung on Hilda Ogden’s wall, the instantly recognisable Coronation Street sign and, of course, the legendary Rove’s Return pub window pane. Simply press your favourite image on to your bread of choice, pop it into the toaster and, hey presto - your very own ‘slice of Corrie life’!

So if you’re jumping at the chance to get your hands on one of these fantastic limited edition sets, simply visit eBay at http://bit.ly/toaststamps. And remember that all of the proceeds will be going to The Coronation Street 50th Anniversary Appeal.

Also up for grabs on eBay with proceeds going to charity are exclusive “Corrie-Wood Boulevard” hand prints of some of the show’s actors including Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor), William Roach (Ken Barlow) and Keith Duffy (Ciaran McCarthy), which have been immortalised in Warburtons bread dough.
