ReplyDeleteI like both actors a lot - and after all, older people are entitled to snog too - it's just that it reminds me somehow of all these false teeth adhesive adverts.
ReplyDeleteCorrie doesn't show ageism as a rule, one of the things that's great about it, and makes it 'real'.
ReplyDeleteI think that because the viewers have had front row seats ( over the decades) to Deirdre's many affairs, this snog between a manipulative, spoken for con man and an eager, ready and willing Deirdre, seems really to be too much!
Oh gawd, I hope they put a warning triangle on before they show this.
