It's almost too horrible to blog but I just had to. It's like a car crash, you can't bear to look but somehow, you can't avert your gaze. And this is what we'll be seeing on Coronation Street next week when Lewis puts his betting slip into Deirdre's till. Mind you, it's still not as bad as this Deirdre picture:
AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!! The horrible pic of Diddery Did and Dev. I thought that image had been banished from my mind and now it's back!
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing compared to the many, many scenes of Kevin and Molly that have unfortunately scarred my brain forever...
ReplyDeleteHope there is a warning triangle displayed. Poor Didi, being made to feel attractive and desired again in her middle age, just to be used and abused by that cad Lewis.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree that certain Molly and Kevin scenes made my flesh creep, even more than a younger D & D...and that's saying something!
ReplyDeleteNext week looks exciting with the climax of the Lewis storyline, that has been excellent. Nigel Havers has to be up there with the greats of succesful guest stars, alone with Ian McKellen, June Whitfield and Honor Blackman.
ReplyDeleteI like Nigel Havers. I like Deirdre. I WANT to think them snogging is absolutely, 100% fine. But I C-A-A-A-A-N'T!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like this whole storyline. Poor Audrey getting suckered again by a man. I just hope she doesn't lose it all before he absconds with all her money. I can't wait to see Deirdre's face when it all comes out!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think that Audrey has to admit that Gail's "Danversian" behaviour at her party was well founded!
ReplyDeletePoor Audrey, oooh, so much pride to be swallowed sometimes, and yet they all seem to get over it in stride.
I have Loved Nigel Havers in Corrie!
I'm usually a bit prejudiced about 'big names' hitting the cobbles, but his performance rang true, and he was excellent!
I bet poor Nigel Havers had no idea he would be called upon to kiss old Deidre. Ughh, what a horrible taste that would be. If he had known he would likely have passed up being on Corrie and left it to a braver man.
