There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Sun that says Nick Tilsley's going to re-open the wine bar that Peter Barlow tried, and failed, to get off the ground in Turner's Joinery.
The paper says that Nick will sell his stake in Underworld to Carla and use the cash to open the wine bar.
The bar will be called The Joinery and will open this autumn after Underworld moves out of its temporary premises and back into the revamped factory. It looks like Nick also offers the manager's job to ex-wife Leanne.
No surprise there, it's the Leanne connection he's milking, innit? Peter isn't going to like that one bit!
ReplyDeleteHow can another bar be successful in 'the street'?
ReplyDeleteOf course Nick is setting it up with Leanne in mind.
It would provide a new venue for action but Liz shouldn't worry too much; can't see it being a feature for long as The Rovers is the 'only place in town' for regulars to gather!
Do I smell opening night on a certain 9th December 2010?
ReplyDeleteopening night... right in time for the tram crash! Obviously that's going to destroy the bar or else the construction of it is what weakens the viaduct to cause the crash.
ReplyDeleteGood theories Seanie and Tvor.
